Things Asexuals Like: Cats

Back by popular demand!
Grace the Spot observes that lesbians like pets. I'll assert that asexuals like cats in particular. Cats do what they damn well please, and really don't care what you have to say about it. We admire this.
Ah, cats mean never having to say you're sorry.
How many cats are too many?
I'd say one cat per room of house is a good way to think about it.
How could you not like this little guy:

I call him Thomas Becket (famous ace?!) because he's so cute you just want to kill him.
My favorite cat-related blogs:
Itty Bitty Kitty Committee
and
I Can Has Cheezburger?

I must protest. I'm as vanilla heterosexual as they come, and I'm reduced to a gibbering idiot by kittens.

oh, god the cats. hells yeah, ha ha. I have a growing affinity for dogs, after years of being a fervent cat person - (is this evidence of a blossoming sexuality on my part? heh) - but I still can't get over the cat adoration. nor do I want to.

also: I love you always for the links. it's been ages since I checked out that macro site, and the ittybittykittycommittee is new to me entirely. w00t.

Awwww kitties! My life, the love of my life and my lifeline, my sunshine and moonshine! Yeah, cats are great... they smell nicer than dogs, they like hiding out with me... and they are physical. Even flying aces need snuggles sometimes. They're smart, but they keep their secrets to themselves. No talking means no misunderstanding, no arguing, no small talk. Even when they are naughty they are cute. You just can't go wrong with cats. And lets just say they keep my eyebrows well-groomed. Dogs are like kids I guess, but cats are my brothers and sisters. They are equals. I take care of them, but they take care of me.

You must check out www.cuteoverload.com It focuses on a broad array of cute, not just kittehs, but it does a good job of achieving its stated goal.

You know, I do like CuteOverload, but it has too many videos. Usually I just look at the pictures. Their "rules of cuteness" are really funny, too.

And totally, Gatto...I'm convinced that one of my cats smells like cookies. I don't know how she does it...

You're right about there being too many videos on cuteoverload. I've lived in China for so long that I've gotten used to youtube never working, so I just skip over them.

The advantage of the still photographs is that they are almost always of high quality, while the videos tend to be the grainy products of a hand-held camcorder wielded by someone who really doesn't know what they're doing.

Cats are also very intelligent. :)

I do have a dog too and he's wonderful, but I like the cats more.
